Far Off Aliens and Strangers | Lesson 63

The Ephesians were just years prior to Paul's writing this epistle, Gentiles in the flesh. They were engaged in fulfilling the desires of the flesh waiting for God's pending wrath. They were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise. Their remedy dwelt within a nation in which did not carry out their calling toward them thus left to their ways in darkness without hope. Josh Strelecki, Pastor-Teacher develops the Gentile lot in time past, this lot in which God in Christ now has changed and altered which has resulted in the salvation of these Ephesians and ours.
