The Ephesians were not only dead in theirs sins, but also in the uncircumcision of their flesh. The Gentiles were judged by God and Israel was the channel of blessing. Yet, Israel's stiff-neck plugged the channel they were to be to the Gentiles by despising them. Therefore, the Ephesians were in dire straits.
