Lesson 1 | The Glory of God

Moses has learned much about the God of his father's Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob back during the burning bush. He learned the name of the LORD (I AM THAT I AM & I AM _____). This is the name Moses went back with to teach the people. Moses had learned of the LORD's immutability and His power over Israel's enemies. Fast forward and Israel has been delivered and Israel has become their own worst enemy. They have failed to keep contract with God and according to its terms God can destroy them. In this lesson Josh Strelecki, Pastor-Teacher examines the further education of Moses in the name of the LORD. The LORD could've rightfully and legally destroyed the people, but does not. He could have left them to their own and not fulfilled His promises to them, but He would continue to go before them. Moses is stunned and requests to be shown God's glory. God does so, but how? By proclaiming His name - Glory to His name!
