Heavenly Host & Lowly Shepherds | Lesson 2

The shepherds in the country of Bethlehem were privileged to hear the message that Christ had been born. The shepherds were not the noble, nor rich of the world. Shepherds were of low estate; however, these shepherds may have been different than others simply based on their location. Once again, we see God using the base things of the world to usher in the glory of Christ. How did the shepherds know where to find Jesus that night? What was the significance of the sign for the shepherds concerning the manger and being wrapped in swaddling clothes?
