Foundation of Biblical Leadership | Session 1
Biblical leadership finds its origin and foundation in God Himself, with Jesus Christ established as the supreme authority and creator of all authority. This divine pattern of leadership was extended to humanity through creation, as humans were made in God's image and given dominion over creation. However, leadership has become corrupted by sin and worldliness, creating a pressing need for authentic biblical leadership, especially in what the text describes as "perilous times" marked by self-centeredness and ungodliness.
This session outlines five fundamental instructions for biblical leadership: being led by the Spirit, walking after the Spirit, being spiritually minded, learning to do, and allowing God to direct one's paths. These elements emphasize that effective biblical leadership begins with internal transformation and spiritual development rather than external techniques or strategies. The path to becoming a biblical leader involves both learning and practical application, always centered on Christ as the model and guided by trust in God's word and character rather than personal understanding.
