PRAYER & REQUESTS

We are to "pray without ceasing", as well as, "edify one another in love". Before God we are to "be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6)." Although we don't have promise He will satisfy our every request we are still to be thankful. Also, God's instruction is for us to "be careful for nothing". Prayer is vital in being careful for nothing and by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we have promise that "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7)." God does promise to strengthen our inner man and comfort us by His peace. He supply's the things true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report to think on and do and thus by the supply of the Spirit of Christ Jesus "the God of peace shall be with you (Philippians 4:9)."

Nonetheless, He cares about our necessities. Yet, with the necessity He teaches us His sufficiency. Our necessities become the ground of our learning satisfaction and contentment solely in Him. Paul even learned (Philippians 4:11-13) this:

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Moreover, God has graciously dealt the honor of their (our necessities) provision to the members of His body. The body taking care of the body. We are called to "distribute to the necessity of saints" (Romans 12:13). We weep with those that weep. We rejoice with those that rejoice. We are to "comfort yourselves together" (1 Thessalonians 5:11). We are to "warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men (1 Thessalonians 5:14)." Therefore, our prayer requests unto God becomes opportunities to care for one another that our love "be without dissimulation and be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another (Romans 12:9-10)."

Therefore, this page is to serve every member of the body at Twin Cities Grace Fellowship, that we may bear one another's burdens and infirmities, that each join in prayer with you to our God, and to give opportunity to distribute spiritual and physical edification in your circumstance. Hence, by our Head, the Lord Jesus Christ supplies for His body and each member is able to supply for one another. Thus, by this operation of God with the use of His body He intervenes today. Through the effectual working of His Word in them that believe we care for each other as He cares for us. For those praying - may the God of peace be with you in keeping your heart and mind. For those with faith which worketh by love - see and hear the opportunity unto the household of faith, do good to the praise of the glory of His grace!

Prayers requests will be shared with the congregation in the weekly email only if you elect to according to the option in the form below.
