A major them to 1 Corinthians is fellowship. Fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ and with those that belong to Him that there be no division and Christians would be perfectly joined together. The apostle Paul brings this unity up in the context of the diversity of spiritual gifts. Such gifts weren't to divide but profit the whole body of Christ. The communion of the church can be seen in who baptized them, what baptism means, where we are all baptized into, and that which we all drink.
